Many substances come with the disclaimer that anything can be ok, in moderation. Does this apply to Marijuana? Can a person be a functioning, contributing member of society if they choose to use marijuana?
Cannabis use is not only beneficial in certain medical cases, but some may find that there are benefits for the casual user as well. Keep
in mind that not everyone reacts the same way when they use a
substance, and that what may be relaxing for some may be frightening for
others. But there are reports that unwinding with cannabis may be just what society needs to relieve the common tensions and stressors of everyday life. What do you think?
Yes, the laws are currently against recreational use in 48 states and the
threat of punishment is often enough to deter many who may consider use. But there seems to be a growing population of users and supporters of legalization.
